Office of Continuity and Security | Joy Miller
Joy Miller, DVM, is Director of the agency’s Office of Continuity and Security Management, where she oversees the agency’s security and continuity activities.
Dr. Miller previously served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary for Security at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
During her career, Dr. Miller has specialized in intelligence and security matters. Her experience includes serving as Senior Advisor for Global Health Security at the National Intelligence Council, as Chief Scientist at the National Center for Medical Intelligence, Division Chief and Senior Intelligence Officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency, and Senior Public Health Officer in the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Miller holds a doctorate from Washington State University, a master’s from the University of California, Davis, and a bachelor’s from the University of Idaho.
