The NCUA protects the safety and soundness of the credit union system by identifying, monitoring and reducing risks to the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund. Backed by the full faith and credit of the United States, the Share Insurance Fund provides up to $250,000 of federal share insurance to millions of account holders in all federal credit unions and the overwhelming majority of state-chartered credit unions.

Credit unions are invited to learn more about the Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund’s Small-Dollar Loan Program during a webinar scheduled for Thursday, May 27, beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern.

Online registration for this 60-minute webinar, co-hosted by the National Credit Union Administration and the CDFI Fund, is open now. Participants will be able to log into the webinar and view it on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website.
