NCUA Consulting Assistance Nomination Season Open through May 31 ​

Credit unions that qualify for consulting assistance from NCUA have until May 31 to submit nominations, the agency announced today. The 2016 consulting period runs from July 1 through December 31. Credit unions selected for the program will be announced in June.

Chairman Metsger Announces Exam Review

NCUA Board Chairman Rick Metsger is initiating a review of the agency’s examination process, and he will form a working group to bring all stakeholders into the effort. The process will include a review of the frequency of examinations.

NCUA to Host Minority Depository Institutions Listening Session

NCUA will host a May 25 listening session to solicit input on ways it can enhance its Minority Depository Institutions Preservation Program NCUA’s Office of Minority and Women Inclusion Director Monica Davy will then lead a panel of experts who will share insights on how to better support and preserve minority depository institutions.
