Issues Civil Money Penalties
February 27, 2007- Alexandria, Va.,– During the fourth quarter of 2006, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) assessed Civil Money Penalties against 22 federally insured credit unions that were late in submitting 2005 Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data.
The Civil Money Penalty documents, as well as other NCUA enforcement orders, are available online at http://www.ncua.gov/administrative_orders/Admin/administrative.html, and may be inspected at NCUA’s Office of General Counsel between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The National Credit Union Administration is the independent federal agency that charters and supervises federal credit unions.
