Anne-Marie Kelley To Join NCUA’s
Office of Public and Congressional Affairs
Alexandria, VA, March 22, 2006 – National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Chairman JoAnn Johnson today announced that Anne-Marie Kelley has been appointed Special Assistant for Legislative Affairs effective March 27th.
Kelley served as a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Jim Bunning, a member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
"I am pleased that Anne Marie Kelley will be joining our team,” said Chairman Johnson. “The agency's congressional outreach efforts are of the utmost importance, and having someone directly from Capitol Hill with Anne's experience and expertise will be a very positive development."
Director of Public and Congressional Affairs John J. McKechnie III said “the combination of her substantive and detailed understanding of financial services issues with a genuine awareness of how Congress works makes Anne perfect for this position. I look forward to working with her."
While serving Senator Bunning, Kelley analyzed and coordinated legislative issues regarding banking, tax, agriculture, SBA, and HUD.
Kelley is a graduate of Catholic University and has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics/International Relations.
