NCUA Announces 2006 schedule for
Small Credit Union Workshops

NCUA’s Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives to host
20 training workshops in 2006 nationwide to provide training for credit unions

January 24, 2006, Alexandria, VA- The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) announced the 2006 schedule for 20 training workshops hosted by NCUA’s Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives to be held across the country.  The workshops are free to credit unions and will discuss current issues significant to credit unions including:

  • Disaster Recovery Planning
  • Regulatory Hot Topics
  • Financial Education
  • Due Diligence-Best Practices

“I encourage credit unions to participate in a workshop, as these informative sessions provide valuable regulatory guidance and open discussions on important initiatives for your credit union’s operations and membership,” said Chairman JoAnn Johnson.
