Statement of Rodney E. Hood upon Senate Confirmation to the NCUA Board

Washington, DC, November 8, 2005 – The United States Senate confirmed Rodney E. Hood as a Member of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board on November 7, 2005. Mr. Hood’s experience spans 17 years in the public and private sector. Most recently, he has served as Associate Administrator of the Rural Housing Service at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Among his duties at USDA, Mr. Hood was responsible for managing a $43 billion loan portfolio comprised of over 400,000 loans.
