Credit Unions from 35 States Registered for PALS Workshop on April 28 in St. Louis, MissouriPanelists Will Share Initiatives to Reach April 19, 2005, St. Louis, Mo. – More than 260 credit union officials from 35 states will participate in NCUA Board Member Debbie Matz’s free Partnering and Leadership Successes (PALS) workshop on April 28 in St. Louis. Registration is still available online at www.ncua.gov. Who: Nine panelists from credit unions with unique success stories will speak to attendees from Massachusetts to California. What: NCUA Board Member Matz’s 10th PALS Workshop is focused on helping more credit unions reach “New Markets, New Members, and New Business.” Where: Hyatt Regency at One St. Louis Union Station. Late registrants who need to stay overnight before or after the workshop can choose from three hotels within one-to-three blocks:
When: April 28, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Central Daylight Time Why: “This Spring PALS workshop is an opportunity for credit unions to learn about successful approaches to serve markets where there is little competition from other insured financial institutions,” Matz explained. “Officials from credit unions large and small, with federal and state charters, will participate in this workshop. I hope that all participants will be inspired to adopt new initiatives that will increase their membership and lending business. And in addition to the panel presentations, we have built in time during breakfast and lunch for all participants to network and share ideas with one another. This is what PALS is all about.” |
