Senior Policy Advisor—Mike Radway
Michael P. Radway serves as Senior Policy Advisor to NCUA Vice Chairman Metsger.
Prior to joining NCUA, Radway worked for 22 years as Legislative Director for members of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee and on the committee staff where he was the principal staff member responsible for securing passage of the Credit Union Membership Access Act. He also served as Deputy Staff Director of the Subcommittee on Economic Growth and Credit Formation, and served on the professional staff of the Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Securities and Government Sponsored Enterprises.
Radway served in both the Clinton and Bush Administrations as a Public Interest Director and Chair of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle. During his six years on the board of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle, he also served on the board of the Council of Federal Home Loan Banks, including one term as Chair.
Radway earned an undergraduate degree from Yale University where he met his wife Stephanie Vardavas, an attorney and Chair of the Oregon Commission for Women.
