2.  Innovative program:  “Helping Schools” Auto Loan Promotion

3.  Description of program:  To assist our local schools in our field of membership, the Credit Union donates $50 to the PTA or college fund of the member’s choice on every new or used automobile loan purchase of $10,000 or more.  Automobile refinances of $10,000 or more from other institutions are also eligible for the promotion. The member also receives a $50 cash rebate and a lower promotional rate. The school that receives the most donation requests during the month long promotion receives an additional donation of $500 from the Credit Union. In the case of a tie, the $500 is divided equally among the winning schools. We post a leader board at each office (updated weekly) to generate excitement in the program.  The schools greatly appreciate the donations and help advertise our promotion to assist their own schools in raising funds. The promotion helps the member, the community, and the Credit Union.
