Grace “Pay Day” Loan - This is a low interest rate (8.0%), no fee,

short term loan for up to $750 that is available to any member that attends a one on one SAFCU credit report review session. The loan is designed to provide relief for individuals that have been victimized by predatory lenders or who need money quickly for emergencies.  The Grace loan has been used to pay off  high rate pay day loans, pay last minute tuition and college fees, pay for medical bills for individuals who do not have health insurance. Freedom Loans - This is a low interest loan that refinances a high rate auto or mortgage loan.  The loan is approved after a member with a poor credit rating has completed a one on one credit and financial counseling session(s) with a SAFCU staff member. Through this program, we have refinanced several 22% auto loans for 5.5%, a 12% home equity loan for 5.25%, 20% credit cards for 8.9%.  The program has saved our members thousands of dollars in interest fees and has nearly doubled our loan refinance portfolio.
