NCUA Listening Sessions

Ms. Matz at Boston Listening Session

Register to Attend Chairman Matz's NCUA Listening Sessions

Chairman Debbie Matz will host six “Listening Sessions” across America from May through July, covering all five NCUA Regions.

“What credit unions have to say is important. Sometimes it helps to discuss issues face-to-face,” said Chairman Matz. “We want to hear directly from credit union officials and volunteers about how we can improve our exam process, how we can reduce or streamline our regulations, and anything else that’s on your mind.”

Listening Sessions are currently scheduled for the following dates, times, and locations:

Registration is free.  Each location’s open registration date will be announced via NCUA CU Express. Participation is open but limited to the first 150 people who register for each session.

Participants will have opportunities to dialog with NCUA Board members, senior NCUA staff, as well as the Regional Director and supervisory examiners from the Region co-hosting that particular city’s Listening Session. Participants will also be invited to contribute to roundtable discussions with their peers on top issues facing credit unions.

"I look forward to carefully listening to the views of credit union officials about how to best modernize credit union regulations and the exam process. I remain committed to implementing modernizing reforms while protecting safety and soundness. Your ideas about what works and what can be improved are a vital part of that process."
Debbie Matz, Chairman
