Region 3 Session Moved One Day Later
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (April 18, 2012) – The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) has changed the “Listening Session” in Orlando to Wednesday, June 13 instead of Tuesday, June 12. The time and location remain the same: 1:00–4:00 p.m. at the Rosen Centre Hotel.
The Orlando event will be the fourth in NCUA’s series of six Listening Sessions across America. Hosted by NCUA Board Chairman Debbie Matz, the Listening Sessions provide opportunities for credit union officials and volunteers to suggest how NCUA can improve the exam process, regulations, and any other initiatives to protect credit union safety and soundness.
Chairman Matz is planning Listening Sessions for the following dates, times, and locations:

Registration for the first five sessions is free online at http://www.ncua.gov/News/Pages/listen.aspx.
Participation is open to the first 150 people who register. Space is still available at all sessions.
Participants will have opportunities to dialogue with NCUA Board members, senior NCUA staff, and supervisory examiners from the NCUA Region co-hosting each session. Participants will also be invited to contribute to roundtable discussions with their peers.
