Credit Union Officials Invited to Session Co-Hosted by NCUA Region 4
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (April 2, 2012) – National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board Chairman Debbie Matz today opened registration for her third “Listening Session,” which will take place on June 5 from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at the Hilton St. Louis on 1 South Broadway.
“We are taking our listening tour to all regions of our nation,” said Chairman Matz. “We want to hear directly from credit union officials and volunteers across America about how we can improve our exam process, regulations, and any other initiatives to protect the credit union industry’s safety and soundness.”
Chairman Matz is planning Listening Sessions for the following dates, times, and locations:

Registration for all Listening Sessions will be free online. To register for any of the first three Listening Sessions, click http://www.ncua.gov/News/Pages/listen.aspx.
Participation is open to the first 150 people who register. Participants will have opportunities to dialog with NCUA Board members, senior NCUA staff, and supervisory examiners from the NCUA Region co-hosting each Listening Session. Participants will also be invited to contribute to roundtable discussions with their peers.
