The federal financial regulatory agencies are hosting an interagency discussion of fair lending issues and hot topics, sponsored by the Non-Discrimination Working Group of the Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force.
During this session, representatives from the Non-Discrimination Working Group will discuss a variety of emerging fair lending issues and hot topics. Introductory remarks will be provided by Michael Bresnick, executive director of the Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force; Thomas Perez, assistant attorney general for civil rights, U.S. Department of Justice; and Sandra Braunstein, director of the Division of Consumer and Community Affairs, Federal Reserve Board.
Speakers at this event will represent a variety of agencies, including the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Department of Justice, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the National Credit Union Administration.
